Following a brief lull in business due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the tourism industry in Nha Trang City in Khanh Hoa province has become increasingly busy as visitors from Russia, the Republic of Korea, and other European countries return.
The south-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa has been declared free from the COVID-19 after going a total of 30 days without any new COVID-19 cases emerging. As a result, many holidaymakers now consider the locality to be a safe destination to visit and are returning in their droves.
Statistics show that despite the brief drop in business, Khanh Hoa continues to welcome thousands of Russian tourists each week.
Foreign guests bring their children to enjoy some of the locality’s famous beaches.
With fears surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak subsiding, tourists can now enjoy relaxing activities such as sunbathing and walking on the beach without the need to worry about the country’s health situation.
Young people enjoy some snacks whilst on the beach in Nha Trang City.
With weather in Nha Trang City fairly cool, the area is now an attractive destination for Western tourists during the winter.
On these days the city’s night market is far busier than it was just one month ago. Most foreign visitors feel safe going out and don’t feel the need to wear a face mask whilst among crowds. Restaurants that had previously been packed with Chinese tourists are now full of tourists from Russia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea
