More than 1,000 weapons including knives, swords and guns from around the world are displayed at the largest private weapon museum in Vung Tau, Vietnam.
The museum in the southern city of Vũng Tàu in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province was certified as the largest private museum of war weapons in Vietnam by the Vietnam Book of Records. Here houses thousands of weaponry and war uniforms from all around the world dating back centuries.
74-year-old Robert Taylor from England first opened this museum in 2012 and closed it shortly after due to personal reasons. In 2016, the museum was reopened at a new address on Trần Hưng Đạo Street in this beach city.
The French-designed building was built in 1912 and has an area of 1,500-square meters. The museum houses over 2,500 weapons and war uniforms in total from all over the world. They are classified into different areas based on the period they were used.
The museum is open every day with an entrance fee of VND 70,000 (US$3) for adults and half price for children under 12.
