Korean Folk Paintings Go On Display To Public In Hanoi

An exhibition titled “See the future through the past” featuring a number of folk paintings from the Republic of Korea has got underway at the Korean Cultural Centre on 49 Nguyen Du street in Hanoi.
The event is showcasing a total of 47 artworks by 46 different painters, all of whom are members of the Korean folk painting association.
The range of colourful paintings on show displays a range of emotions felt by Korean people in daily life, such as joy, happiness, and excitement.
As one of the largest art organisations in the Republic of Korea, the Korean folk painting association has 1,500 members and is responsible for running events with the purpose of preserving and promoting Korean folk paintings.
The exhibition is scheduled to run until February 25.
