Da Lat is brilliant on the occasion of the Flower Festival

More than 500,000 flower pots with a series of flower spaces flooded the mountain town to celebrate the 2022 Festival, opening today.

Dalat Flower Festival starts from November 1, but the festival peaks from December 18 to December 31 with a series of programs.

Light Park is located in the center near Da Lat market and Xuan Huong lake with thousands of square meters. This place has been brilliant for the past month with colorful flowers.

 

According to the Da Lat Flower Association and the Da Lat Urban Service Company, there were more than 500,000 flower pots, nearly 100 kinds of flowers and decorative leaves on display with the themes: "Peaceful, elegant, hospitable" and Lam Dong tourism "safe, civilized, friendly".

On the edge of Xuan Huong Lake, many flower miniatures are invested in by Da Lat City. "Two years ago due to the Covid-19 epidemic, I did not come to Da Lat, this time I visited on the occasion of the flower festival, so I really liked the flower spaces on the street and along the lake," said Tran Thi Thuy Dung, a visitor from Hanoi.

The flower spaces along Xuan Huong lake are socialized mainly by businesses and flower companies in Da Lat city. A week before the festival's opening, flower spaces are formed, lasting until December 31.

 

Many beautiful flower varieties such as phalaenopsis orchids, and orchids ... are displayed in a flower space inside the house near Xuan Huong lake.

Le Dai Hanh coffee street is full of flowers on the sidewalk for visitors to enjoy and take souvenir photos. This is also a street with large flower waterfalls, which is the highlight of "flowers down the street" during this festival.

In addition to the flower spaces in the center of Da Lat, visitors can visit famous flower villages outside the city such as Xuan Thanh, Van Thanh, Thai Phien, An Son, and Ha Dong... 

Van Thanh flower village is one of the places invested in the image and the number of flowers the most at this Festival, attracting many tourists to visit on December 18 in the journey "Discover the flower villages".

Many walls, taluy are painted by artists into famous architectural works in Da Lat, this is one of the new features of this year's Flower Festival.

In addition to flowers, many agricultural products in Da Lat are also displayed interwoven with flowers, attracting many visitors.

On the evening of December 18, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held the opening of the 2022 Flower Festival with an art program to introduce Da Lat - Lam Dong from the beginning of the world, recreating the traditional rituals, the current economy, and tourist destination. The program is expected to have the participation of 400 singers, artisans, and about 15,000 people and tourists.
