Flight Centre Travel Group business Cross Hotels and Resorts has expanded its presence in Vietnam with the signing of a hotel management agreement for the X2 Vibe Halong Bay.

The agreement was signed with Halong Bay Hotel Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Vietnamtourism – Hanoi JSC.

Set to welcome its first guests in late 2023, the property will comprise 470 guestrooms making it one of the largest internationally branded hotels in the area.

It enjoys a prime location in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay, less than 60 km from Van Don International Airport and a few hours from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, which has direct links to 25 major destinations across Asia with more to come in the future.

Catering to both leisure and MICE travelers, facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, living room concept lobby, meeting and function rooms, all-day dining and a fully equipped gym.

Soaring 39 storeys, X2 Vibe Halong Bay draws inspiration from the limestone pillars that rise from the emerald waters of the surrounding gulf. Highlighted with cascading greenery, the state of the art tower is juxtaposed with the natural splendor of its breathtaking environment.

One of the world’s must-visit destinations, Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqm.  The backdrop to numerous movies, Halong Bay is acclaimed for its rich biodiversity and stunning scenery.
