CNN: Phu Quoc Island Listed Among Best Destinations in Asia

Located off the coast of Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang, Phu Quoc Island is listed in the top 17 places in Asia by CNN. 

Phu Quoc Island, often called Pearl Island, has always been a top destination for local and international tourists. This island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia and the world’s longest overseas cable car, CNN said.

CNN also published a list of the best things to do in this magnificent island of Vietnam. 

Travelers can rest on beautiful beaches such as Sao Beach, Long Beach and Ong Lang Beach. If they yearn for active traveling, kayak through fishing villages, squid fishing, snorkeling or scuba diving are strongly recommended.

The waters around Phu Quoc are teeming with marine life, most of which is centered around the Phu Quoc Marine Park in the south or the Ganh Dau Coral Gardens just off the northwestern tip - CNN. 

Those who want to go trekking can consider Phu Quoc National Park, which is home to easy walking trails and more than 200 wild animal species and rare birds.
