    a. Far Northern and Northern Vietnam


    January is one of the driest months of the year in Hanoi and the North. At this time the climate will remain quite cool with the average temperature of 18°C. Sometimes it has light rain in January and there is foggy weather, especially in coastal areas and around Halong Bay. Also, if you plan to go trekking to the Northern mountain like Sapa and Ha Giang, make sure you bring enough coat to keep warm. The temperature in these places can drop to 0 and there is even snowfall.

    b. Central Vietnam

    This is the end of the rain season, so the weather in the center of thí country is no longer rainy and quite pleasant (average temperature: 23°C for you to travel to Vietnam). In Hoi An, Danang and Nha Trang, the beaches are getting back with their majestic beauty. Dalat and the Central Highlands are quite dry and chilly, especially at night so extra clothes are recommended.

    1. Visit Moc Chau Vietnam

At this time, Moc Chau has a stunning beauty with all mountain slopes covered with white plum flowers and other beautiful flowers. Plum blossom can be seen everywhere including roads, from villages to hills and also along two sides of the highways.

    The best places to admire the beauty of white plum blossom is on the way from Kia PaCave to Long Luong Village – the village of Mong ethnic minority. This way is not only home to white plum but also the heaven of the pink cherry blossom as well as the fresh green of the plum-tree. 

    2. Visit Dalat, Vietnam

Like Moc Chau, Dalat Vietnam in January is a gorgeous land with the beauty of cherry blossom. It’s the great choice to go biking from the center city to Cau Dat, and enjoy the cool, fresh weather.     6. Visiting Ban Gioc Waterfall, Vietnam

    Ban Gioc is the fourth largest waterfall in the world among the beautiful waterfalls on the border between countries and is the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia. Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh District, about 90 km from Cao Bang and 400 km from Hanoi. The path leading to the Ban Gioc Waterfall is winding, around the mountainside and has many narrow, fresh air, stunning countryside scenery.
