As you approach the highest mountain of Hoang Lien Son, you reach the highest transmission of Vietnam (1900 m). You can, of course, decide to go by car when you need support. You then descend to the beautiful mountain city of Sapa (at 1600 m).
Day 5 Sapa – Muong Bo – Sapa (87 kilometers)
Biking time: 7 hours
Today is a half-day trip on the dirt road and a single road. You can meet the Hmong and Tay hill tribe. Roads sometimes go through the backyard of local people and they will often gather excitedly to see the cyclists as they pass by. After the picnic lunch at the falls, there is time for a refreshing swim before driving again to the SaPa. The rest of the day is free to explore the beautiful mountain city of about 140,000 people near the Chinese border.
Day 6: Sapa – Ban Khoang – Bac Ha (79 kilometers)
Biking time: 6 hours
You are normally surrounded by dark green skis and soft white clouds as you leave SaPa, passing through the beautiful Ban Khoang village. You will wind your way up higher and higher into the mountain on the village road. You will turn around for half a day at 1400-1600m, followed by a long downhill ride to Lao Cai City on the Chinese border. You end up driving to beautiful Bac Ha Village (1400 m). This border town is famous for its once-a-week market. The ride lasts about 2 hours, and you will spend the night at the hotel here.
Day 7: Bac Ha ( 35 kilometers)
Biking time: 2.5 hours
Sunday Market is a good time to watch the local lifestyle and meet people. Make sure you bring your camera! The scenery and splendid clothing are excellent. Around noon, you will turn around on the way to the village for 4 hours, admire beautiful mountains and forests. The tribe we will see today is H’Mong Hoa, one of the most colorful and luxurious in Vietnam.
Day 8: Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Hanoi (54 kilometers)
Biking time: 6 hours
You will travel along the peak through the evergreen forest and the ancient minority people. Lunch is likely to be available at the local small restaurant. At the end of the day, you will have worthy of snacks and cold beer. After loading our motorbike, you can drive to Lao Cai for pleasure, before boarding the train overnight to return to Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Da Lat

This agricultural hill has some of Vietnam’s best mountain biking trails. After having lunch, you can visit one of the many flower farms, and return by horse to Dalat. Day 11: Da Lat ( 50 kilometers )
Biking time: 6 hours

Starting early today, we travel from Da Lat to Ta Nung village, then to Nam Ban on 15 km of a single road. Tay Nguyen produces some of the finest and most beautiful teas in the world, so we can pause for a moment to admire the beauty. After a short 10 kilometers transfer, you ride the bike to the campsite (at 1224 m). Your waving continues through the village of Gia Bac ahead of a 10km fast downhill sloping road to Ma Lam Town.
Day 13: Mui Ne
No cycling
A day of freedom to explore the popular coastal resort of Mui Ne. You can relax with a swim in the hotel, or surf the sandy beach. You can rest your tired feet bike or maybe explore the shop and many restaurants.
Day 14: Mui Ne to Saigon Airport
No biking
This morning, you will drive 3-4 hours to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) for a short sightseeing trip (depending on your departure time). Then, you can transfer to the airport (or to your travel office) where it’s time to say goodbye to your fellow group members.
