Son Tra Peninsula is considered as the green lung of Danang city, which attracts the great attention of the people and tourists accompanied the effect from tourism to biodiversity, environment, and landscape of Son Tra Peninsula. Currently, garbage is at an alarming rate with the increase in the number of tourists visiting Son Tra Peninsula.

On August 25th, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Danang tourist beaches (under Danang Tourism Department) coordinated with organizations, and enterprises to organize the environmental sanitation in Son Tra Peninsula (Son Tra District, Danang City) with the motto “For the green – clean – beautiful environment”.

This is an activity to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2018), raise awareness of the citizens as well as tourists about the environmental protection, and create a good impression for visitors when visiting Son Tra Peninsula.
