Located in the An Thoi Village, Phu Quoc Prison used to be the worst prison in the wartime. In the past, Phu Quoc Prison also is known as the Coconut Tree Prison covered an area of nearly 4,000,000 m2. With 400 detention rooms, this prison was where more than 32,000 political prisoners were detained and brutally, terribly tortured.
