    It is a small, 100 m long street amid the Old Quarter which is the most crowded and popular street in Hanoi. Bia Hoi here is not the finest but what makes this place so popular is the unique Hanoi street food style, the friendliness of people all around the world and cheap draught beer. There is no fancy table in the site but plastic chairs are placed right on the street, close to the other. You might find people using laughing balloons here which contain N2O gas and they are legal in Vietnam. Besides beer, some prominent street food dishes and drinks are served if you want to try something different.

    From Hanoi Post Office, you can walk on Dinh Tien Hoang street toward the West and slight right at Civet Coffee onto Hoan Kiem Lake street. Then you turn right onto Cau Go street and turn left onto Dinh Liet street. From here, keep going straight till you get to Ta Hien street.

    Ta Hien street is only getting bustling when nightfall. Therefore, visiting this street during the day might bring you a different view.

    Hoan Kiem Lake is closely bonded with many legends and myths. On regular days, hiring a “xich lo” to get around the lake is also an interesting option.     You can easily get to Hoan Kiem Lake by bus, taxi, motorbike taxi or driving by yourself.

    The Church streets are the common name of several streets around the Major Church of Hanoi and this is one of the most visit destinations in Hanoi. The ancient gothic style church is not the only highlight of this street but the diverse menu of food from all around the world. Surrounding the major church in the night is the “Tra Da” paradise of Hanoi – Nha Tho street. While Nha Chung street has cheap foreign street food such as Thailand coconut ice cream, Chinese dim sum, Japanese takoyaki and Hai Phong spicy banh mi, Ly Quoc Su street is filled with Vietnamese cuisine: chicken porridge, donuts, Goi cake bi, dam fruits (slices of fruit were marinated with spicy salt and sugar) and the legendary rib porridge.

    The prices of food in Nha Chung is cheap (from VND 5,000 to 20,000) and so with most of the dishes in Ly Quoc Su street. Nha Tho street is fancier, especially non-Vietnamese dishes.

Good service attitude and sanitation are what make the food here popular.

    Besides food, you can enjoy the traditional Ca Tru, Van performance at Bach Ma temple and Huong Truong temple or street music performances from the nearby street.

    A night bustling food street is 650 m long stretching from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square to Dong Xuan market. Like the two above, this night market is popular due to the diverse menu of street food in a wide range from a couple thousand to hundreds thousand Vietnam Dong per dish.

    8. Long Bien bridge – The best place to admire Hanoi when nightfall

    As the first bridge was built crossing the Red River, Long Bien Bridge is the witness of so many events that happened in Hanoi. During the day, the bridge is crowded with vehicles but when nightfall, the whole scene turns tranquil and beautiful in a   different way.     12. Korean Dock – The idea destination of nightlife dating in Hanoi

    Korean dock is the common name of a 1 km long road from the abandoned West Lake project located near the foreign quarter of the West Lake. This road is right in front of the bank with handrail, light and graffiti paintings on the road. Every afternoon, children from the neighborhood come to fly kites and when nightfall, it becomes the ideal location for couples. The beauty of the lake, tranquility and cool wind will make it perfectly to hand-in-hand with your love in the midst of romantic scenery.

    Located in Ta Hien street – the center of Hanoi nightlife, it gets crowded every day in the week by both Vietnamese young and foreigners. The main point of focus is the modern stage where DJs play commercial songs (EDM or Hip Hop) and live bands perform mostly Vietnamese pop songs. The entrance is free on most nights except if there is a special event that you will have to pay about VND 100,000 - 250,000 and the liquors are more expensive: VND 80,000 for a beer and VND 120,000 for a cocktail/liquor. Most of the customers occupy high tables and there is a nice central bar for those come alone. Dress code is enforced so you can freely wear whatever you want. Even though, a pair of pants, a shirt and shoes are recommended.

    Weekend nights are the most crowded and there are promotions on Wednesday night (2 free beers for students with valid student ID) and Tuesday night (2 free drinks for girls).

    15. The Bank Hanoi – One of the largest nightclub in Hanoi

    The Bank is a luxury nightclub located on the 6th floor of the Capital building and this is the best pick-up place in the city with an incredible number of girls. It is a crossover featuring the best points of Vietnamese-style and Western-style nightclubs. You can free to roam around or dance instead of standing around the table all night long. There are some Vietnamese pop and house, and also the International Hip Hop, EDM and Top 40.     Legend Beer Hanoi occupies on the third floor of a building look toward Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square with an open-air terrace that overlooks the bustling of Hanoi downtown.
