    b. Getting from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi by train

    This is the longest transatlantic route in Vietnam. This route runs through many large and small stations and is mainly carried by SE (fast trains) and TN (slow trains). Priority ships of SE vessels take only 29-32 hours to complete this route, while TN can take 40-42 hours with multiple stops.

    a. Getting from Hanoi to Ba Vi by bus

    In order to develop and help travelers explore Ba Vi mountain, the city has bus routes to help visitors have a wonderful experience while traveling Ba Vi by bus.

    Bus route 107: Car runs from Kim Ma Bus Station to the Cultural Village of Vietnam Ethnic Groups, each trip is 20 minutes apart. This route helps visitors to visit the cultural village of Vietnam.

    Bus route 74 and 71: From My Dinh Bus Station to Xuan Khanh, with a convenient 20 minute travel time. Go to Xuan Khanh to pick up a motorbike to visit the points such as Ba Vi National Park, Long Viet tourism, Thien Son Suoi Nga.

    c. Getting from Hanoi to Ba Vi by renting motorbikes

    What to prepare:

    • For vehicles: If you travel by personal means, you should bring the necessary documents, filled gas tank, mirror and do not forget to bring repair tools in case of the broken car on the road.
    • Clothes: With this trip, we advise you to choose the most comfortable clothes, climbing shoes, wearing masks, eyeglasses, and thin jackets.
    • Lunch and some personal items: food, water and things such as wind oil, insect bites, sunscreen …

    Ba Vi is a famous tourist destination, located about 60 kilometers from central Hanoi. So, the road to Ba Vi is simple and very easy. Motorbike ride from Hanoi to Ba Vi only takes 2 hours. There are two ways to follow Ba Vi:

    First way: Follow Thang Long Highway, Lang Hoa Lac, turn right to go to Son Tay. To the intersection, turn left to Xuan Khanh. Keep going 10 kilometers, there will be signboard on the left. If you intend to trip Ba Vi within a day, this is the shortest way to Ba Vi.

    Second way: Go straight on Xuan Thuy street, then, go on the Road 32. Cross to Son Tay town, turn left to Xuan Khanh. Keep going 10 kilometers, there will have signs on the left. Follow this road about 10 kilometers further. If you intend to trip Ba Vi for more than 1 day, then, you should go this way.
